Curriculum Tracks
The NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing offers an innovative curriculum designed to be completed in 18 months. There are two tracks to this curriculum – the Practical Nursing Traditional Track and the Practical Nursing Pathway Track.
Students in both tracks receive the same high quality nursing education, core nursing courses (Nursing I-V), evidence-based nursing practice, and a clinical experience. Required general education courses for the Pathyway Track are taught by faculty from Community College of Philadelphia and carry college credit.
The Practical Nursing Pathway Curriculum graduate will have completed 27 transferrable college credits, all of which can be applied toward continuing their nursing education in an Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Program.
