Message From The Director Of The
School of Practical Nursing
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our website.
The curriculum for the NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
Our Monday through Thursday curriculum has been developed to be completed in 18 months, no weekends or evenings, and provides the integration of advanced technology in a state-of-the-art facility that includes a SIM lab (Simulation Laboratory) where a patient simulator will be used for critical thinking, problem solving and learning activities. Through implementation of our Advanced Standing policy some student may complete the program in 15 months or less.
NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing’s innovative curriculum is designed to prepare practical nurse graduates to meet the healthcare needs of patients of the 21st century. Additionally, this curriculum will provide students with the ability to articulate to registered nurse programs.
Faculty are experienced professionals dedicated to the schools mission “to educate, empower, challenge and support the students as they expand their knowledge in the field of practical nursing, prepare for licensure, employment and service to the community”.
If you are interested in applying to the School of Practical Nursing, we urge you to call 215-951-4282 to set up an appointment to attend an information session.
Anna M. Marshalick, RN, MSN – Director
NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing
